Previously, Viber only allowed you to call or message other Viber users, similar to messaging platforms such as Whatsapp. Now you can have Viber out. Viber out is similar to Skype service. Viber Out lets Viber users from all over the world call EVERYONE (even if they are not Viber users).

Call any of your friends at low rates using Viber on your phone or desktop! ViberOut needs credit to let you call non-Viber mobile numbers and landline numbers at low rates. Viber Out’s low rates vary based on your call’s destination.

“Viber Out gives our millions of users a new way to use Viber and ensures that they can reach any contact at any time. We will continue to improve Viber Out, keeping our users connected at the most affordable rates possible.” said Talmon Marco, CEO of Viber.
